I just made chicken pitas last night!! However, my pita bread was store bought this looks great!!

i served mine with cucumber, avocado, tomato and topped with a cucmber sauce…yummy!

You got excellent results. I do not have a baking stone but I made pita once using a sheet pan that I had preheated really well. The first two came out great but the other never puffed like the first two. I’ll try and get a stone, it is just that it would cost a fortune where I am.

These look very tasty, I always figured pita was something that wouldn’t be that easy for the home cook to replicate, now I’ll have to try it!
